This one-day workshop gives you an overview of the entire job application process in Switzerland while focusing on two critical elements: Your CV and Your Cover Letter. You'll leave with practical tools and templates to confidently approach your next career step.



Module 1: Get ready for your application



  • Understand the key stages of the application journey.
  • Reflect on your career goals and define your objectives.
  • Mentally prepare for the challenges of job searching.

This part of the workshop provides the foundation for understanding the overall process, while we focus on concrete steps in the next modules.



Module 2: Show yourself on the job market



  • Craft a professional CV that highlights your strengths and stands out to Swiss recruiters.
  • Develop a winning cover letter, including a clear structure and an engaging Wow Sentence.
  • Build a complete application file that meets Swiss standards.

This is the hands-on part of the day, where you’ll actively work on your CV and cover letter with expert guidance. By the end of the session, you’ll have the tools and knowledge needed to finalize them on your own at home.



Module 3: Fit for your job interview



  • Receive an overview of key interview strategies for Swiss employers.
  • Learn how to connect your CV to your interview answers.
  • Understand the basics of verbal and non-verbal communication.

CV Workout



Receive personalized guidance on how to tailor and improve your CV to stand out to employers. CV template will be provided. Please bring your laptop and a printed version of your current CV to make the most out of this session.

Lunch Break



Take a well-deserved break, network with fellow attendees, and refuel for the afternoon sessions.

Cover Letter & Job Interviews
